You May be Sitting
on a Green Gold Mine!

Thank you for your interest in gaining or upgrading your natural gas services. If you are a new customer start with step 1. For customers who are upgrading and need rebate information go to step 4.

  1. Determine if Natural Gas is Available to you:  Call Scott Ranck 863-224-2986. Leave your name, address and contact info on his voicemail.
  2. Upon confirmation of natural gas availability to your home, Central Florida Gas will promptly contact you to discuss appliance requirements and any potential costs to provide service to you.
  3. Once you have decided that natural gas serves your energy and lifestyle needs get pricing for your appliances and housepiping from our Energy Plus Partners. Go to www.cfgas.com and click on the tab, “Energy Plus Partners.” Put in your zip code and select “gas piping” from the drop down menu. You may want to get two or three prices on your project.
  4. Rebate Information:
Once you upgrade your furnace, water heater, range or dryer with a new natural gas appliance, simply send a copy of your receipt to: Central Florida Gas PO Box 960 Winter Haven, FL 33880. Write attention: “Conservation Rebate” on the envelope. Allow 2-4 weeks for processing. Rebates come as a check made out to you, not a credit on your account. List Rebate Amounts for New and Upgrades here: Walter has these.

      SWITCH UPGRADE
    Water Heater $525
    (tank or tankless)

    $350 (tank)
    $450 (tankless)

    Furnace $625 $350
    Range $100 $100
    Clothes Dryer $100 $100

    • Energy-efficient exterior windows, doors and skylights
    • Energy-efficient heating and air conditioning systems
    • Insulation

  5. If you are a new customer having a new natural gas service installed, upon completion of your project call Central Florida Gas at 863-293-2125 and select “customer service” from the options. Tell the customer service associate you would like to activate a new account and have your meter set and gas turned on. Within 24 hours a natural gas meter technician will come to your home and “leak test” your gas lines. He will install your meter and turn on the gas. There is a $55.00 meter deposit due upon meter set. This fee may be waived with a letter of good credit sent to Central Florida Gas from any other utility with whom you are a customer. There will also be a $30.00 turn on fee assessed to your first monthly bill. Your rebate(s) will be sent to you within two to four weeks.
