Transfer or Discontinue ServiceIf you are transferring the service at your home to your name, you will need to complete a New Customer Application and contact the CFG customer service department to inform them the date of the transfer. If you are looking to discontinue the gas service at your home, you will need to give at least a 24 hour notice to the CFG customer service department. Please have your account number available and the date the gas service is to be terminated. You can also send a notification of discontinuation via email, but please note that the 24 hour period will not begin until the following business day.
